Conference to help new businesses
St David’s Day celebrations kick off in Cardiff this year with a distinct emphasis on business. Capital Cardiff, a conference for those helping to shape the future of Wales, will be at City Hall on February 29 to mark the start of the city’s St David’s Day festival
Cardiff & Co teams up with Google
Cardiff & Co is working with Google to help business owners in Wales make the most of the Internet with a series of workshops and one-to-one sessions for businesses. Google’s Getting Welsh Business Online campaign starts with a launch on 6th March at the Coal Exchange, in Cardiff Bay.
Council to back Convention Centre
Cardiff Council is to put money behind its plans for a convention centre as part of the new Central Business District. Cardiff & Co MD Richard Thomas said: “Congratulations to Cardiff Council for making a firm commitment on this. It is encouraging at a time when local authorities finances are tight. They clearly recognise this is a positive investment in the long term. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the central business district.”
