Google set to help businesses in Wales
This March Google UK will kick off a year-long campaign in collaboration with a series of partners to help small business owners in Wales make the most of the Internet. The campaign is the first time Google has committed to an on-the-ground programme of this length anywhere in the UK - and is the company’s first major visit to Wales.
Cardiff & Co appoints Roger Pride as interim MD
Roger Pride, director of marketing for the Welsh Government, is to lead Cardiff & Co when its managing director leaves at the end of next month. Mr Pride will take on the role on secondment from the Welsh Government for an initial 18 months.
Cardiff enters top 10 UK destinations
Cardiff has powered its way into the top 10 most popular choices for UK breaks, according to the travel website Expedia. Expedia lists Cardiff as number eight for UK travellers, putting it ahead of York and near neighbour Bristol.
